A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Valentina. I would like to tell you what I enjoy doing. So, I like to travel, to go sightseeing, to spend time with my family, to learn about other cultures and to practice sports such as skating, riding my bicycle, and practicing CrossFit. I am from Colombia, a beautiful country with a rich cultural mix that make it diverse and unique. There, I studied a Degree in Bilingualism with emphasis in English. After I finished it, I worked teaching English to primary and secondary students for 4 years. 

Right now, I am studying a Master's degree in second language learning and teaching at the Cantabria University in Santander. For me, it is important for a professor to have an advanced knowledge of the subject he/she is teaching. Therefore, it is important that teachers are constantly updated and learn what is new in the discipline. Besides, I would like to go to English speaking countries to have contact with the culture and the language.

In this blog, I will share the reflections that I have made about my learning process related to Literature and Cinema as a Didactic Tool in the Second Language Classroom subject. So, it would be helpful for my professional growth, and I would appreciate if you leave me feedback on this blog.
